Josie's Labradors
Josie, our original female was retired after her third litter of puppies
in August of 2006. We kept the largest, yellow female, Dusty Rose, from
the last liter born May 28, 2006. Dusty Rose is exceptionally
intelligent, very pretty, willing to please, loyal and very social. At 7
months she is 70 pounds and within an inch of being as tall as Josie. If
all goes well, we will have her certified and she should come into her
second heat in about 12 -18 months to carry on this remarkable lineage
of quality family Labradors. We already have people on a waiting list
for this batch of puppies.
From the last Puppy buyers…
I just want you to know how great it is having Max as a new part of the
family. He has learned a lot quickly and is now potty trained, sits,
lies down, and we’re working on stay, all in a matter of 9 days.
Providence has brought him together with us. Thanks!!!

Just thought you'd like to know that Stella is such a joy and is growing
up so quickly.
Warmly,
The Pavone Family
I hope Josie and Dusty Rose and King are all doing well. We are back
from our summer in Montana, where Nellie loved getting to know her
sister Daisy and brother Dante before they left for their respective
homes. We had Dante for almost a month, and it sure was hard saying
goodbye. He is such a sweet pup! Daisy, too, was sweet, and a bit more
“rascally” than Dante, though we didn’t get to know her as well, as she
was only with us a week. Nellie was the perfect big sis, breaking the
pups up when they were fighting, and bringing them their own toys when
they were chewing on things they weren’t supposed to. It was really
amazing to see her interact with them – she is such a great dog! It’s
good to know that if/when we get a second dog she’ll be fine with it
Chris’ dad and sister both LOVE their dogs, and were very thankful that
I brought them to them. I wanted to pass that THANKS on to you (and
Josie!) for producing another wonderful litter.

Miss Stella has adjusted very well to her new home here with us. She is
getting the hang of the potty training thing, and sleeps through the
night in her crate. She makes us all laugh with her antics, and is
liberal with her kisses. She has discovered she can splash all the water
out of her water dish onto the floor :>( and has developed an affinity
for carrying rocks in her mouth. She's learning how to play ball &
frisbee--and is so cute in full run with her ears flapping in the wind.
She doesn't like stairs, but is getting used to being on a lead. She
needs lots of chew toys to keep her busy (and distract her from using US
to chew on). She is not a barky or whiny dog at all. Quiet and cute!
